Rain: Bring warm clothing and a good rain coat!

We will be visiting historic sites: batteries, bunkers, cemeteries, beaches... Sometimes the ground will be wet. We will walk for up to 30 minutes per site.

Les sites sont-ils accessibles ?

Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, l’accès aux batteries allemandes et au cimetière allemand est très compliqué. Le sol est soit recouvert de cailloux soit boueux. Seul le cimetière américain est accessible.

Les animaux sont-ils autorisés ?

Les animaux sont interdits sur la plupart des sites, même s’ils sont tenus en laisse.

Il y a t-il des commerces à proximité ?

Les sites que nous allons visiter sont isolés. Il n’y a donc pas de commerces à proximité. Pour le circuit “Journée Complète - D-Day”, une pause déjeuner est programmée dans le village de Port-en-Bessin.

Peut-on venir avec des enfants ?

Je m’adapte aux jeunes enfants. Pensez aux sièges auto et portes-bébés pour les tout-petits, car les sites peuvent parfois être impraticables pour une poussette.

Il y a t-il une tenue particulière exigée ?

Nous allons visiter des cimetières militaires, dans lesquels une tenue correcte est exigée. Nous marcherons jusqu’à 30 minutes par site, il faut donc des chaussures confortables.

Are the sites accessible?

Access to the German batteries and the German cemetery is very difficult for people with reduced mobility. The ground is either covered in stones or mud. Only the American cemetery is accessible.

Are animals permitted?

Pets are prohibited on most sites, even if they are kept on a leash.

Are there any shops nearby?

The sites we will be visiting are isolated. There are no shops nearby. For the "Full Day - D-Day" tour, a lunch break is scheduled in the village of Port-en-Bessin.

Can I bring my children?

I adapt to young children. Think about car seats and baby carriers for toddlers, as the sites can sometimes be impassable for a pushchair.

Is there a special dress code?

We will be visiting military cemeteries, where proper dress is required. We will be walking for up to 30 minutes per site, so comfortable shoes are essential.
